American Prize announces Independence Day Honors

I am honored and humbled to be among the first group to be awarded the Distinguished Artists of The American Prize along with mezzo soprano Adriana Zabala. Distinguished Artist is a new category of recognition limited to a very few contestants whose career accomplishments evidence “sustained artistic excellence” over a extended period of time. We are recognized as artists and pedagogues. Also part of the Independence Day Honorees was Maestro Dale Warland who received The American Prize National Arts Award for Lifetime Achievement. Congratulations to them both.
